LAURA DE SILVA

Laura is currently completing her ECB Advanced Coach, and has a range of coaching experience across multiple sports, spanning over 20 years. She holds a number of roles in recreational cricket, and is now established at Old Camdenians CC.

Laura started coaching cricket in 2019 and quickly took on roles in Middlesex, working on County Girls pathway and East London Boroughs programmes, lead coaching an extremely successful Middlesex CCC U13 Girls side in 2025. A qualified Coach Developer, Laura is now based in Suffolk and is the Lead Coach for Suffolk U14 Girls, and Assistant Coach for the Suffolk Women’s 1st XI. 

In addition to her coaching, she has held multiple committee roles within cricket, been a driving force for the Middlesex Coaches Association, and has been the MJCA Girls Area Chair for 4 years. Before turning to cricket, Laura had a successful career as a music lecturer, teacher and performer. 

Laura has a special ability to connect with the players she coaches and develop strong teams in a short space of time. Her achievements have been recognised with the Middlesex CCC Inspired to Play OSCA in 2021, and Middlesex CCC Coach of the Year in 2023.
